The Ministry of Health and the Civil Aviation Authority of Qatar have set different procedures and rules for the return of foreigners by country and category.

According to the notification, Qatari expatriate workers stuck in Bangladesh will be able to return to Qatar from August 1 on two conditions. First you have to apply to the appropriate authority to return to Qatar on the Qatar Portal, a website designated by the Qatari authorities. If allowed, the worker will have to stay in the designated hotel for one week after arriving in Qatar. The cost of this quarantine will be borne by the company.

The statement, however, quoted the Qatari authorities as saying that allowing foreign workers to return would take into account the needs of government and semi-public sector workers and the health situation in Qatar.

Those who stay in Qatar on family visas will have to stay in Hotel Quarantine for one week at their own expense after returning to Qatar from Bangladesh, the statement said. After a week, their corona will be tested. If the corona result is negative, you have to stay at home quarantine for one more week. And if it is positive, you have to go for isolation under the supervision of the authorities.

However, for some people, this one-week home quarantine will apply instead of the one-week hotel quarantine. Meanwhile, the Qatari Ministry of Health has released a list of the 40 least risky countries in the world. In that case there is no need for hotel quarantine. The list includes Brunei, Vietnam, China, Thailand, Malaysia, New Zealand, Malta, Finland, Hungary, South Korea, Estonia, Norway, Lithuania, Latvia, Japan, Cyprus, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Slovakia, Denmark, , Morocco, Poland, France, Australia, Canada, Slovenia, Belgium, United Kingdom, Czech, Austria, Switzerland, Algeria, Turkey, Iceland, Spain, Croatia and Andorra.
